Knitting
I am getting pretty close to finishing my Litmus cowl in the baby camel and silk. Each colour I have tried to repeat 16 rows of twice. Annoyingly I discovered I had missed a green so I have slotted that in but there’ll only be one of that shade.

Spinning
I did a bit more spinning of the merino and Mulberry silk but only on the first bobbin so I will wait to show you it plied.
Weaving
Rigid heddle loom
My main thing this week is finally doing a three heddle project on my 10″ rigid heddle loom. On Monday after work I put the warp on and threaded heddles 1 and 2. On Tuesday, after work, I threaded the 3rd heddle and then wound it on and did a few rows of plain weave. Wednesday onwards I was able to really get going.
I will do a separate post about this whole project once it is off the loom. But I will say I have really enjoyed working on this twill sampler and look forward to sharing all the details. Here is a sneak peak of some of the sections.

Other News
Yesterday we went to the cinema to see the documentary film called 3,000 feet. About the Scottish Munros, the peaks in Scotland over 3,000 feet. The views in it were stunning, almost tempting me to give one a go…but in reality I won’t be climbing one.
That’s it for this Sunday but hopefully I will be able to share a post later this week showing more details of my weaving project.
This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 15th year, but this is my 8th year participating. If you would like to find more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, as you’d be very welcome to join us.
