My blogville friends regularly do posts about their sock projects on Mondays and I rarely have news to report. But I realised that my finished Christmas socks had been accidentally missed off my week 24 update, and I didn’t realise until after week 25 was published.
So here’s a photo of my finished Christmas socks. They aren’t quite perfect as I must have started the toe decreases at a slightly different point but they fit well enough to be worn each Christmas Day!

I dyed the yarn myself and didn’t quite get the white stripe band long enough but overall I’m thrilled with how they turned out.
Your Christmas socks turned out amazing, especially considering you dyed the yarn!

Thanks Marilee. Allistar has just shouted up the stairs that there’s a card from Alaska so thank you so much. I’m off to open it now x

Your socks look great! I’m loving the heels. I haven’t completed a pair of socks in months!

The heels are taken from the Hermione’s everyday socks (free on Ravelry). 😀

I have that pattern in my queue. It is wildly popular! I love that socks can be made with parts from different patterns to suit our preferences.
