Knitting
Surprisingly little knitting time when we were away and I can’t knit in the car, so not a huge amount done…but I did manage to finish my Winding Down jumper. There’s a separate blog post with full details. I love it!
Other News
We got back late on Tuesday exhausted. As lovely as it was seeing people I haven’t seen for years, socialising wipes me out. I kept snoozing in the car on our way back and collapsed in bed when we got home. Ylva seems to have loved being at her nana’s and seemed like she didn’t want to leave although she was very excited to see us both.
Lots and lots of Guild paperwork done this week but the end of the busy period should be in a week or so. I do not miss office work at all.
This weekend I have the 2 day paddle board course. I’m so exhausted after day 1 and I’m writing this in a hot bath. I’m behind reading blogs again but I’ll catch up next week. So long as I’m still able to move my hands and arms lol.

Your jumper turned out fantastic. It looks so great. Totally relate to how exhausting visiting is even if you love being with them. Wow a 2 day paddleboard course sounds exhausting. Hope you get some relaxing time this coming week.

Your Winding Down jumper is lovely!!! Too much socializing wears me out too so I fully understand. A hot bath hopefully will do the trick and you’ll be all set for Lesson #2! Enjoy!

Whew! Busy week and I completely sympathize with the socializing exhaustion. I have a hard time with it too. Hope you enjoyed your paddleboard workshop and are having some quiet crafty time planned for yourself this week. 🙂

I didn’t comment on the FO but, I love the way your jumper turned out! The color looks AMAZING with your hair and skin.
I am also going to agree: Socializing is SO exhausting! Were we (collectively) always like this? Your paddleboard workshop also looked super awesome! I’m happy you shared your experience!
