Advent calendars part 2

We are at Christmas Day so time to reveal the 2nd half of my Advents.  If you missed part one then click here.

The yarn advent was inspired by Kingston Lacy Gardens and dyed by Bluebell Yarns and is 4 ply, 10g each of 40% BFL, 40% Shetland and 20% Alpaca.  The 100g skein is green but I could not get the shade true no matter where I tried photographing it.

I’m really thrilled with it.  My thought is the rainbow-ish ones on the top right (plus the red at bottom) will go in one project and the variagated fade will go in another.

The fibre advent from World of Wool was inspired by Christmas characters past and present.  If you are interested in seeing all the blends then I have logged them in my Ravelry fibre stash.  There are some new to me sheep breeds and blends so I’m excited to get spinning them in the new year.

If you are celebrating today I hope you are having a good time.
