Knitting
Other/household
I have knitted an Emotional Support Chicken with some of my handspun. There’s a separate blog post about it that includes details of each of the yarns I spun and their fibre content.
I can see why people get addicted to making them and have started a second one, again using my handspun.

Spinning
I’ve spun three more of the World of Wool advent fibres, days 1, 15 and 17.

Other News
I went to see Wicked at the cinema. I’ve no idea why I left it so long, I loved it. We went to see the stage version in London many, many years ago and I didn’t really remember much. Funnier than I thought, I shed a couple of tears and came out humming the last song. I look forward to seeing part 2 later in the year.
This week I started working 3 x 5 hr days in the office instead of 2 x 6 hr. The extra money will be useful and it’s a reason to get up, which can be hard on the day when my husband is in the office and I have no dog to keep me company.
This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 14th year, but this is my 7th year participating. If you would like to find more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, as you’d be very welcome to join us.
I hope the new work routine works well for you. It’s nice that it doesn’t use up your whole day. Love your chicken. Your spun yarns have a pretty sheen to them. Now that almost all our theaters have closed, I’ll have to look into buying Wicked to watch on our TV screen.

Its a shame seeing a film at the cinema is declining. This was well worth seeing on the big screen with the loud volume, we are lucky to still have one open.

Do you give the chickens away? I have thought about making them too but do not know where to donate them? Your spun fiber is really pretty. I wonder what they will become? You always come up with grand ways to use them.

I will give it (and future ones) away when someone needs it. Allistar suggested I put it by the window so when I come home from work on the day he is in the office there’ll be something there to greet me. It was tough on Tuesday coming back to an empty house. So for now she will be my ESC until she’s needed elsewhere. Yarnbooksroses.com made 26 chickens last year and donated them. If you have a look at her blog you’ll see she also makes other things to donate, she is in Colorado but I’m sure there’ll be similar organisations in Arizona.

Thanks. Yes hopefully I’ll be okay on the new days. I always have to walk on a Tuesday as we share a car now, so that will be the biggest difference I think.
