A few weeks ago I got confused with the numbering of the weeks, so some of you saw last week’s post when it was labelled week 39. I have corrected the wrong ones and it is now genuinely time to share the third quarter snapshot!
Knitting
I have made some progress on my hat. I am not sure if I have enough yarn to do another cable repeat…we shall see next week!
Weaving
Rigid heddle loom
I finished weaving my Earl Grey Towel and on the same warp did a different pick up pattern. Details are on the Ravelry page for those interested.

To use up a tiny bit of warp I used some of the 8/4 cotton as weft as well and sewed this pouch. Not sure what I will keep in it but it was nice to see how these would feel using the 8/4 in weft as well as warp.
Other News
Obviously a lot of this week was taken up weaving and sewing the towels, where else did it go? Not sure this week.
Below I share, mostly for my own benefit, a snapshot of my list for this year (YOP15) and the progress that I’ve made on it so far. 3 months left to go and some items have been carried forward since YOP9! I should maybe dust some old projects off this next quarter and work on them so that they don’t get carried forward again. Weaving I’ve ticked off a couple of older projects, which is good.
Usually at this point in the YOP year I would have done more knitting and felting. I didn’t get motivated to felt the lampshades this week, maybe next week.
See you next Sunday!
This is the Group’s 15th Year (YOP15), but my 8th Year.

Your towels are very lovely. I see a lot of things checked off, you are doing well. I also told myself no more fiber, until I have spun some up, spin two, can buy one, but I haven’t finished 2 so I try not to look at the lovely fibers because I know I might accidentally buy some :P.

Love the tea towels. Your list reminds me I bought a felting gnome kit years ago and have never made it. I know it would be so cute in my knitting room as it’s a gnome that is knitting. I need to buy a felting mat and just do it!!!
