Felting
I constructed 2 x 25cm lampshades and dropped them off at the gallery on Tuesday morning and had an email on Friday saying they’d both sold already and they’d like more when I get time. So it’s time to stop procrastinating and getting distracted and make lots of lampshades!

Knitting
My Ship Shape jumper has now been split for the sleeves and so this is going to be a pretty mindless knit of the body as there’s no waist shaping. Stripes are addictive!

Other News
It has been a wet and windy week so I couldn’t get out on my SUP. I did go to the cinema to see The Lost City which was funny. I kept my mask on through the movie, seeing as last time I was in the cinema I caught Covid. It meant I could relax and not worry. Masks are no longer mandated.
This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 11th year, but this is my 4th year participating. If you would like to find more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry. Year 11 list.
Congrats on your continued success selling your hand crafts, Liz. Your felted wool lampshades are so unique – I can see why they go quickly. I love the large pictures and being able to see your designs so clearly. š

I agree with you about knitting stripes. I’m off to knit a sleeve and watch The Lost City. š By the way, I am still double masking whenever I’m out in public.

I can understand why with your health conditions. I hope you enjoy the movie, watch the credits too as thereās a bit after.

So great you sales are doing so well. We were invited to a movie screening last night, but it was a sold out premiere and I didn’t want to sit in a packed theatre with 330 others, mask or no mask, so we streamed it from home instead. Covid seems to be on the uprise again here and our boosters aren’t due for another month. I hope you get out soon on your SUP board.

Oh goodness. I picked a movie that had been out a while…there were 5 people in total in there š I would not have been comfortable with that many people either.

I can see why your lampshades sold out….they are gorgeous! I love the sweater. Do you carry the yarn? It looks like a fun knit. I wear a mask everywhere….I’ll probably wear one in my coffin! LOL!

Yes you carry the yarn. Itās loose spun cotton with many threads and a nightmare to weave in ends.

Obviously people know good stuff when they see it – that’s fantastic that you’ve had so many sales of your lovely products! Really fun striped construction. It’ll be a great summer layer when it’s done, I predict. Here’s hoping you have better weather for outdoor activities this week!

This week has been windy again which is a shame. Its just not enjoyable to try to paddle in 17 mph wind.

Those lampshades are so great and very unique. I see why they sell so quickly. Your Ship Shape is so pretty. Sounds like it is not going to be a relaxing knit until the bottom edge.

It is pretty relaxing actually, I’m carrying the yarn so no weaving in ends to deal with.

Your sweater is pretty. It reminds me of summer with the colors and the stripes. I see a nautical theme. The lamp shades are beautiful. Itās great that youāre sales are doing so well.

Yes it is quite nautical…I can see why she named it Ship Shape…like a double meaning
