Acquisitions/Stash Management
My new yarns from Lamington Lass Yarns arrived together with a cute project bag with tiny hiding gnomes on it. Did I need another project bag, of course not…but this has hiding gnomes on!! The yarns are non-superwash.

The gnome patterns I’ve purchased are:
- Gnome is where you hang your hat Ravelry link
- ADVENTure Gnome Rav. Link
- All Work, Gnome Play Rav. Link
- Gnome-Made Gifts Rav. Link
Felting
I finished the 4 needle felted tomte/gnomes I started a few weeks ago, but I forgot to take any photos before dropping them off at the shop. 🙈
Knitting
Socks
My DK socks are finished. These were 40 stitches on 3mm needles. Although on the photo the stitches look a little stretched they actually feel a little loose on my tiny feet.

Other/household
My mystery gnome KAL is progressing. Here’s a Sgnome-man!

Other News
A weird week as my husband was away until Tuesday evening and so I worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I went to see Wonka again after work on Friday and loved it as much as the first time and did spot a few things I’d missed the first time.
This is a Year of Projects post. Officially the Group is in its 13th year, but this is my 6th year participating. If you would like to find more about the Year of Projects Group on Ravelry, as you’d be very welcome to join us. (There are 53 Sundays this YOP year, it happens sometimes!).
I’m looking forward to seeing your gnomes. I love the colors in your socks! Do you like wearing DK weight socks? Are they thicker?

Thanks I like wearing DK socks as my feet do get cold and there’s a negligible difference in my walking shoes I wear pretty much every day.

Loving all the gnomes! How cute! Socks look great and cozy. I am working on a pair of DK house socks. I’ll wear them with my snow boots too.

What an adorable project bag. Anything with gnomes is wonderful. They are my latest obsession. The gnome patterns you purchased are so great! I really like Sarah’s patterns too. Easy to follow instructions. What will you be making with your new yarn? The DK socks look toasty and warm. I bet they knit up much quicker than fingering weight yarn.

The new yarns are for my new gnomes. Not official colours but ones that will go in different rooms round the house.

OMG – I can’t believe how often our brains are on the same wavelength! I just added one of her gnome patterns to my queue! I got inspired by a knitter here in Florida that made a chess set of gnomes. What a cute project bag and pretty yarns. What a cute snowman that will be perfect to display over the winter months. I definitely can see how gnome making and decorating could become additive for me.
