We are half way through Advent, so I thought I’d share the first half of my yarn advent from Bluebell Yarns and fibre advent from World of Wool.
Really happy with both so far (well except the yellow fibre)
The yarn is inspired by Kingston Lacy Gardens and is 4 ply, 10g each of 40% BFL, 40% Shetland and 20% Alpaca.

The fibre is inspired by Christmas characters past and present.
Two fun advents! Looking forward to what they get made into.

Oh my look at all that luscious spinning fiber!!! What do you do with the mini skeins?

I’m not sure at the moment. I am really loving how natural the colours are and have been having a look at patterns but also thinking about maybe weaving with it. Once they are all open I’ll have a think.

What pretty yarns and fibers. I’m so glad you pointed out the names of the fibers. I noted Fezziwig in your previous post, but didn’t realize each day was a nod to some Christmas classic. How fun is that.!
