I have finally managed to make some lampshades. It has been 2 years almost to the day since I last dropped off stock. This was because I had a frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).
These are made with fibres I have blended myself, they are then laid out, felted and constructed using a lampshade kit. More details on their contents and construction can be found here.
These new ones are 2 x 20cm and 2 x 25cm lampshades (not suitable for ceiling/pendant).
In each size there is a stormy seas one and a beachscape one.
They contain various breeds of sheep wool and decorated with a combination of silks, flax and viscose.
They are now available at The Alchemist Gallery in Dingwall, Highlands of Scotland.Â
I forgot to photograph them before wrapping them.

I love the colors. ❤️
