Well, I forgot what day it was so my post is later than normal! I hope everyone had a great Christmas (to those who celebrate it). I still have cold symptoms and seem to have taken very seriously the old wives’ tale of “feed a cold, starve a fever”…no fever so I have munch munch munched my way through a month’s worth of calories in a week!
Knitting

I made little progress on Allistar’s hat and I am now just freestyling rather than using a pattern. I’m still on the brim doing 2×2 ribbing, perhaps I’ll just do that all over but have been wondering about doing some cables. He wants a double brim that covers his ears. I don’t think I worked on my bag, Christmas and having a cold has meant I haven’t been crafting much at all.

Sorry you’ve been a bit under the weather. Boy, do I understand that “feeding a cold” issue. I don’t know when I do it if it’s self-soothing, or what, but I often come off being sick feeling weighed down by what I’ve eaten. Beautiful Christmas socks! I look forward to seeing what 2020 holds!

Your Christmas socks and Allistar’s hat start look great! Wow – you have a lot planned and a lot done already in your YOP! Feel better soon 🙂

Your Christmas socks look very cozy and warm. Live the color of Alistars hat. I think the idea of 2×2 rib all the way would be super cool.
I love that old wives tale and live by it too. Eat your cold away!
Happy New Year!

I hope you are feeling better soon! I cannot believe your list and how much you have gotten done in the past 6 months! Everyone gets so much done I really need to “up my game”! LOL! I love the Christmas socks and the hat yarn is really nice. I love how you organized the “keys” for your list and I don’t think blogger has anything like that but I am going to try as it is nice a clear and easy to see where you are. Great accomplishments….congratulations! Happy New Year!
